When the pharmaceutical research community is huge, how do you network effectively? How do you find the right people to tap into their expertise or leverage their social capital?
Most of us are just part of some some social system and experience it firsthand. We learn who to ask for help. We learn who to avoid. But generally, we never bother to look at the whole or macro system – we are content to understand our immediate environment only.
